Safe to share publicly?

Post questions, bug reports, and feature requests on GitHub Issues when their details can be public. Search existing issues first in case someone has already reported the same problem.

GitHub issues and their attachments are public. Remove personal information, confidential text, and sensitive details from screenshots before posting.

Need to keep it private?

If your request cannot be shared publicly, email [email protected]. Use email for personal information, purchase-related questions, privacy requests, or security-sensitive reports.

Share only what is needed to explain the problem. Do not send passwords, API keys, or payment card details. If you are unsure whether something is safe to post, start with an email.

What to include

  • Your CropText version and macOS version.
  • What you were trying to do and the steps that reproduce the issue.
  • What you expected to happen and what happened instead.
  • The error message, if any, and a redacted screenshot or non-sensitive sample only if it helps.
CropText does not upload your captures or recognized text automatically. Anything you attach to an issue or email is information you choose to share for support. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
